Gates of Knowledge: Free Spirit

Knowledge is a tool that can limit or liberate. If we are too sure we know something, then we close our eyes to anything that doesn’t fit with our beliefs. Feeling we “know” can limit our capacity to learn. These paintings depicts the difference between following the accepted wisdom by the letter.

In Limits of Perception, the sheep follow the words out of the gate … but to reach them we need to let go and fly (Free Spirit). Use knowledge to serve us rather that be bound by it.
